I paint in acrylics — drawn to the way the medium can be both raw and quiet at once. My work is rooted in observation, memory, and the small moments that tend to go unnoticed.
Most of my paintings start without a clear direction. I work in layers, and what survives each layer is usually more honest than what I started with. I'm interested in atmosphere over detail — the feeling of a place rather than its description.
